Guest House Seli: Budget stays
Many of the locals are trying to subsidize their incomes by operating Guest Houses. They are cheaper than the Beach Resort (about $5 a night), however they do not have electricity, restaurant or the greatest comforts.
If budget is a deciding factor or you find it worthwhile to give locals some business, you could find it to be a unique opportunity to share some conversation and learn about their life styles.
Just a place to stay. Bring your own flashlights and batteries for everything (camera, phone, etc).
Bedding can be provided if you don't bring your own.

Com Beach Resort: The Best Resort in Town
Com Beach Resort is a hangout for many of the expats that are working in Timor. It is very relaxed and perfect for recharging your batteries.
There are single rooms (starting $25) with shared showers.
Double rooms ($50 for 2 people) have their own ensuite.
Superior rooms offer views of the water ($70 for 3 people).
If you choose to camp and bring your own tent, fee for shower and facility access is $8
Beach Resort is the only place in town that has electricity. They have generators that run from ~7pm to ~7am. Rooms come equipped with A/C. Showers offer hot water.
This is also the only place that has has a full service restaurant and bar. Granted food/drink prices may be a bit elevated, but it is the only place in town that has refrigeration to cater to a kitchen.
The beach right off from the resort is calm water, perfect for swimming.
