Good KOWLOON Location

Great location in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui in the Kowloon Peninsula, B P International is close to the outdoor markets, lots of little restaurants nearby, etc. The room I had was quite nice, quiet, all the amenities needed, (TV, free WIFI, stocked fridge, desk area), including a bathroom you could move around in.

(I did have some photos, but someone inconveniently erased them from my camera!!)

Unique Quality: This hotel is on the schedule of FREE BUSES from the airport train station! very efficient and frequent service.

This hotel is listed on many websites, including AMERICAN AIRLINES, which is where I booked it from.

Great location and great price

Stayed here in Nov. 2009. Loved it. The rooms were a bit small, but it was in a great location. Just a block from the Airport bus drop off and 1 block from the Jordan MTR, which is two stops from the night market and 2 stops from the ferry/harbor area. This hotel abuts the Kowloon Park, which adds to the view.

The rooms had air conditioning, tv, the usual freebies (toothbrush, comb, toothpaste, shampoo, lotion), water boiler, and a cleverly hidden hair dryer in the side table. There was a dispenser on the wall for hand soap. There was bottled water and beverages, drinks for a fee. I asked for ice and it was quickly brought to my room. There is no swimming pool at the hotel. There is a restaurant, but I did not try it. There is a 7-11 and a Welcome supermarket across the street which made things convenient.

Check in was easy and the staff spoke english well. This is a big tourist hotel, there was a line of luggage in the secondary lobby and lots of places to sit and wait for others. I asked for a late check-out and they said that they could only extend it by 1 hour. The check-out line was a long 15 min. wait. The staff was nice and accommodating.

I would definitely suggest that others stay here as it was convenient and a pleasant stay. I had a view of both the harbor and Kowloon park, which was nice.

Great value for money

I would highly recommend this hotel because ;
1. service is excellent
2. they provide toothbrush, toothpaste, hairdryer besides the usual stuff...
3. hotel looks fairly new

Unique Quality: The hotel is close to plenty of restaurants, so don't have to worry about food.
There's a 7-11 just opposite the road in front of BP International, so if you feel like having some cup noodles or sushi (they have some nice sushi pack for about HKD 18 only), just pop over to 7-11.

Also close to the MTR, just go towards your right.

Great location and comfort

The hotel itself is really nice, although the rooms are rather small for the amount you are paying. The hotel is in walking distance (few blocks) of the harbour and dozens of good restaurants (including cheap eats if you are on a budget). One block to the nearest subway station. Was worth the splurge to stay here.

Unique Quality: Great views from the upper floors ... we were on the 24th floor and it was fantastic to watch the laser lights show each night at 8pm on all of the skyscrapers across the city. See attached photo for the view from our room.

Gente muy amable, buen servicio de habitaciones, bien situado hacia el aeropuerto.
Uno de los autobuses del aeropuerto te deja justo en una de sus esquinas.

Good location, good location

From the name, it sounded to me more like a hostel than a hotel. When the first step into the hotel lobby, it's so different from my 1st visit to Hong Kong staying in Concorse. BP has a huge lobby with cream white marble flooring. The check in counters are situated are the side with a smaller entrance. It has a pub/ live band in the hotel on the second level, we didnt had a chance to eat there so I could not recommend anything. It had a big stair way from the second level to the first level makes it look grand.
We asked for a quad sharing room, the room is consider medium in size with 2 sets of bunk bed. Toilet is small but modern. Shower room is divided with a glass panel slide door to the powder area. Clean & quite. Outside every level, near the lift area, there's a water dispensal with hot/ cold water, can refill anytime of the day.
View from the room (7th floor), lower rise buildings & partial harbourfront view.
Very pleasant stay & location is best.
5 mins walk to Jordan MTR, 15 mins walk to Tsim Sha Tsui.

Unique Quality: Unique of BP is, the price is worth the stay in such convenient location & new renovation. Everything is just within reach, 7 eleven right across, kowloon park right behind, food & restaurants just within 5 mins walk (front/ side walk ways), shops within 5 mins walk too. Not to know if there's any swimming pool in this hotel.

WE WALKED EVERYWHERE! LOCATION LOCATION!

All hotels in Hong Kong seem to have small cramped rooms...BP International was no different compared to western hotels - however; the location, brightness of room, view and helpfulness of the staff made up for it.

We arrived at the pier from Shenzhen on the hydrofoil and were able to walk right to the hotel.
We had been told that the rooms in Hong Kong tended to be a bit small and true to form, they were! We soon became acustomed to the fact that although small they had comfortable feel to them, were well appointed and had everything we needed for a good night's sleep.
We purposely requested a room with a view on an upper floor wanting to be away from any noise and again they met our need.

We would happily recomend this hotel to people considering a hotel stay in Hong Kong.

Unique Quality: The staff were GREAT! very accomodating, always willing to provide us with information and all having great english skills.
Easy to read maps provided at the lobby and consierge was great at dutifuly highlighting and marking points of interest for us.

Just around the corner is the park and you can walk out the door, just around the corner, through the park and be at the pier to watch the pyrotechnic displays at the Kawloom skyline!
Metro was also easy to locate as were all the major shopping areas in Kowloon.

From the hotel we walked to Bird Park (not to be missed) and the various specialty shopping areas throughout.

We booked through Asiarooms.com and paid approx. USD $80.00/night dlb occupancy

Cheap hotel

Stayed in hotel for a weekend in Hong Kong. Nice accommodation. Perfect if you are looking for cheap accommodation but don't want to risk it at a guest house in Tsim Sha Tsui. Very small room with 2 bunk beds. Nice views from 14th floor. Not the best place if you plan to spend a lot of time in your hotel room, but perfect if you only need a cheap, clean room to sleep in.

Unique Quality: Nice views. Good service. Excellent breakfast.

Good Location in Hong Kong

This a very good hotel....quite new and very clean. The price is a bargain at USD85 for a quad/triple room. The room is small as expected but the facilities are very nice...especially the bathroom. I would definitely stay in this hotel when I visit HK again.

Unique Quality: Central location...very convenient.
- Just beside the Kowloon Park.
- A few minutes walk to/from China Ferry Terminal in Canton Road and Jordan MTR Station.
- Near Temple Street and the "Golden Mile" Nathan Road for good shopping opportunities.

A Quaint Little Hotel

The exterior of the hotel was not fancy-looking, however the cozy reception more than make up for it.
Overall, the staffs were pretty polite and efficient, one particular staff from the concierge impressed me no less with his professionalism.
As the room was newly renovated, everything looks brand-new. I like their clean and bright interior which is very similar to those Zen-like concept.
Location wise, it's pretty near to Canton Road and for me, I love to walk through the Kowloon Park behind the hotel and walk my way to Canton Road.
Certainly worth giving this hotel a run for your moo-lah...

Unique Quality: We stayed on the 21st floor and had a great view from our room. It was absolutely breathtaking be it day or night. This is one of the perks from the stay there which delighted me even till now. =)

Hi,

Any comments to share on BP International? Is the place relatively new, clean and safe? what about in terms of location and size of rooms? thanks!

BP international is ok, conveniantly located near the Nathan road, Subway, night market and kowloon park. rooms are nothing special but like I said ok.

If you decide to stay there I'll look up a restaurant for you near the night market. It is called stylistic food plaza, but I forgot the streatname. Cheap food and mainly local customers, but the great plus : an english menu. Loved the oyster pancake, noodles, white chicken, squid and chily pork

Happy travels ! Regards, Roelof

BP International is a great stay. I stayed there in February of this year, my first time and I loved it. The rooms are clean, the hotel is centrally located so you have about a 15 minute walk to the Star Ferry and Victoria Harbor, Mtr is almost right outside the door and the staff is friendly and very accomodating. There'a also a great little buffet breakfast in the hotel. I would and will definitely stay there again. I booked the room online through www.asiarooms.com and got a great price. Enjoy.
