I would pick the first choice because it's so close to the MTR station. But it's in a very busy area of Hong Kong with lots of shops and restaurants choices.

The other choice is great if you like a bit of tranquility as it's higher up on the hill. It's located at a high-end residential area. You'll have to take a bus / minivan to get down to the city below.

Travel Tips for Hong Kong

Departure day.

If your flying to Hong Kong from Terminal 2 at the Frankfurt International Airport and you have finished checking in your luggage ahead of schedule don't rush off to the boring boarding gate, instead let your little ones burn off some of that extra energy by letting them play around at 1 of 2 places.
The first place is a play area located across from the check-in counters, it has a few electric rides to ride for a price of €1.00 for about 2 minutes of fun, or what is probably more appealing is the play area located in the Food Court.
Take the escalators all the way to the top floor of terminal 2 and you end up in the "Food Court" at the centre of the Food Court is a large play area for kids that includes two slides, a ball pool area, and other kiddie attractions.

No one ever told me it was a beautiful city.

I had heard Hong Kong described in many ways, but strangely I had never heard it described as beautiful. Perhaps the commotion eclipses the images of HK in most people's hindsight. Really I found it a beautiful place. The view of Central from the Kowloon side is amazing, particularly at dusk and night. The view of the city looking down from Victoria Peak is also incredible.

All water direct from government mains in Hong Kong satisfies the United Nations World Health Organisation standards, but it is not advisable to drink water directly from the tap! Bottled water is widely avaiblable in hotels and supermarkets.
