Bridal Tea House Hotel (Western District) and its location

by a_anya

Hi
I'm planning to go to Hong Kong this New Year, and I'm thinking about staying at Bridal Tea House Hotel (Western District) on Queen's Road West, Sai Ying Pun. Has anyone ever stayed at this hotel? I would like to know if the hotel's location is safe, especially at night? I'm quite worry about the safety cos I'm a solo female traveler. I might go out to see the Symphony of Lights, and just want to make sure that it will be ok for me to make my way back to the hotel at night. Is it convenient to go to town by tram? Most of places that I'm going to visit located in Central, so it seems to me that travelling by tram is fine as long as I can catch a tram back to the hotel at night. And how about food and restuarants? Are there any nice restuarants to dine out in this area? Thank you very much for you help.
Sorry for posting this message many times, I've just found some errors and forgot to preview it.

On Hong Kong Island, you will generally be very safe. I have not been to the hotel where you are staying as I live closer to Central, but you should not have any problems. If you are out late and the tram is not running (I am not sure what time they stop), you can always take a taxi - the prices are very low.
