Green lobby at conrad hotel's lobby

whilst resting in the lobby after the green compound walkaround, and still feeling enviously green, self cannot help wondering if the greens have been lobbying in favour of the environment when the hotel was being built.....

Unique Quality: as one can see from the pixs, hints and hues of green pervade the lobby.

Unbeatable Location

As befitting a top establishment, all facilities & amenties were top class to the point of faultless.

Unique Quality: Spacious rooms - much larger than the normal Hong Kong rooms.
Location directly above Pacific Place shopping centre and MTR

Luxury at it's best

Our stay was as fantastic as the city. The hotel is equipped with all the luxuries you could ever want. The decor was beautiful with satin sheets and a comfortable king size bed.

We were upgraded to the Executive Suite and we enjoyed the free breakfast every morning overlooking Hong Kong Harbor along with afternoon tea and evening cocktails with hors d'oeuvres.

Unique Quality: Breathtaking views of Victoria Peak and Hong Kong Harbour, these luxury hotel rooms are equipped with all the amenities you are accustomed to, including high-speed internet access, CD players, international direct dial, electronic safes, iron and ironing board, satellite and cable television.

Each suite is also equipped with a beautiful marble bathroom, jacuzzi tub, double sinks, and a separate shower, plush bathrobe and slippers along with plush towels.

Expensive......but not what I expected !!!!

The location is excellent, right above the Pacific Mall. But the staff were impersonal, not rude but not friendly. The rooms are large in size, but nothing luxurious to them, the rooms are very simple...The bathrooms are also large and nice. The views from the rooms are somewhat blocked by the Island Shangri-la and the JW Mariott Hotels. The cheapest of the nicer hotels in Hong Kong......would have rather stayed at the JW Mariott right next door next time even if it more expensive !!!!

Not bad for 5

The Conrad hotel in Hong Kong is a place I continue to return to. On my second trip to Hong Kong, I returned for my birthday with my girlfriend, it was her first time to Hong Kong. I wanted to show her a good time so I went for the Conrad. Conrad Hilton is the only Hilton property in town. This is a fantastic hotel to stay with its 5 star rating, which is just a slight step below full on luxury brands.

At a price of approximately $500 US per night I was also able to extend our stay cheaply by using Hilton Honors points for most of the nights.

The hotel itself is located above Pacific Place shopping center at the Admirality stop of the MTR. Surrounded by the Shangri La and the JW Marriott it is a 61-story building with stunning harbor views. The rooms have just recently been through a renovation and all include DVD and new TVs, comfortable king beds with full turndown service, and a working desk with pay per day internet access. The bathrooms are well appointed with your standards of high end. Double sinks, stand-alone shower and large Jacuzzi tubs and separate toilets.

My only experience has been staying on the executive floors in ocean view rooms (harbor view) and must say that the service has been incredible. For my birthday I received a special treat, a piece of cake with a card signed by the entire executive floor staff. A very nice and personal touch.

How do I get from the airport to the Conrad Hong Kong hotel using the train?

by swdke

How do I get from the airport to the Conrad Hong Kong hotel? Can someone provide detailed directions and instructions to someone who needs step by step help? Thank you.

Re: How do I get from the airport to the Conrad Hong Kong hotel using the train?

Very easy. After getting your luggage you buy a ticket on the Airport Express train and get off at CENTRAL station. At that station just get a taxi to the hotel, it's like a 5-10 minute ride, depending on the time of day you arrive.

Any Airport Bus A1-A2 to Lan Kwai Fong Hotel ? Wher is this hotel located ?

Just some clarification:
The above advise on taking the AE (Airport Express) train is quite correct but there is no 'Central station' on this line. You need to get off at 'Hong Kong station'. From there, you can follow the signs to the Airport Express hotel shuttle buses. Take bus no.H1, which will bring you directly to the Conrad Hotel. The shuttle bus is included in the ticket price, i.e. free of charge.

Cheers,
Robert

@orchid49:
Take airport bus no.A11 and get off around Sheung Wan MTR station (right after crossing the harbour tunnel). You need to walk the remaining distance but it's not that far away.

Cheers,
Robert
