Rooms for the Smurfs!
I just didn't like this hotel. I stayed in a "double" room and I was alone. There was no place left in the room to put my luggage and I had to put it on the other bed. Otherwise, everytime you try ro reach for the bathroom, you have to jump over your luggage. Plus, to get out of the room you have to move your luggage somewhere. I asked for another room and it was just the same so I ended up staying in the first room.
There was a strange smell when you put the air-con on. Plus, the air-con was extremely noisy.
It is also in the Tsuen Wan district so a bit far from many touristic places: OK, nothing is so far in Hong Kong but travelling long distances with MTR is not that fun after all.
Unique Quality: I have to skip this part as I can't find any.

Dorsett Far East Hotel Hong Kong
Has anyone stayed at this hotel before? The hotel address is 135 143 Castle Peak Road, Tsuen Wan, Kowloon. What is there to see within walking distance of the hotel? How far to Temple Street? I have only been to HK one time in the past for about 24 hours and was not able to see much, Any recommendations for a 48hr stay?

Twuen Wan is far from the tourist area, but it is very fast and convient to go anywhere by mass railway transit, Tsuen Wan is highly populated residential area, not much to see, if you want to go to Temple Street, get off at the station of Jordan or Yaumatei. 48 hours you can do a lot of shopping.
