where to stay
Hi all, I'm looking for a hotel in Hong Kong that is conveniently located to great local shopping and accessible to the sights. I ve found a few possibilities and I'm seeking the advise of my VT friends.
These are the hotels I have found but if you have other suggestions, please let me know.

Hi - we stayed at the Langham and LOVED it (http://hongkong.langhamhotels.com/). Although in Kowloon it is a great location for shopping, markets, etc. The hotel is actually attached to a mall. Many markets (bird, goldfish, jade, flower, Ladies) are withing walking distance. The Star Ferry is only about a 2 minute walk.

Hope you enjoy it! The beds are so comfortable I didn't want to leave. They are actually called "Blissful Beds". And they have a great chocolate fountain desert table....

I stayed at the Luxe Manor hotel for 2 weeks. It's a nice boutique hotel. My room was modern and clean, but not too spacious. It was just enough space for myself. I would stay there again. It's not a far walk to the MTR station or Nathan Road. The Kimberly Hotel is right across the street.
