Good hotel in Kowloon
hm, well my stay was extremely pleasant. The Kimberley is in Kowloon, well located, close to shops, restaurants, nightlife, Mass Transit Railway, Star Ferry, etc.
The place looks good, service is very courteous and efficient, everyone helps you with a smile. I remember that I had to rush when leaving for the airport, and the doorman was most helpful about something I'd forgotten inside.
My room was small but very nice, absolutely quiet, air-condition/heating system well adjusted and silent. Large new marble-style bathrooms, hairdryer and products.
Unique Quality: I mostly enjoyed being right in the centre of things.
Oh, no... I mostly enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel. They give you an English newspaper and you have two, wonderfully appointed buffets: Cantonese and Western food. All delicious!
That was truly fantastic! Bacon, eggs any way you want them, breads of all kinds but especially, real toast and real Dundee marmelade! I died and went to heaven!
The coffee was the best too.
Of course, you eat and drink to your heart's content.
Here's a gif of Qu Yuan... for colour. Qu Yuan is called the Patriotic Poet, and is considered by some to be the father of Chinese poetry. He is celebrated at the time of the Dragon Boat Festival in June.
