Comfortable Hotel

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, on our very first visit to Hong Kong. We booked it last minute, and since there was a trade fair on that weekend, it was hard for us to find accommodation, and this was one of the only places with an available room, so it was a last resort booking. What a lovely surprise! We really enjoyed this hotel. After coming off a 13 hour flight, we arrived at this hotel. We arrived early, and our room was not ready, so we were offered complimentry drinks, and waited for our room. The free drinks were a lovely gesture, as we were the ones that arrived early, and it wasn't their fault that the room was not ready yet. So it was nice of them to offer us free drinks.

The room was small, but we were prepared for this, as we were told that all Hong Kong hotel rooms were small. So even though small, the room was very comfortable, clean, and modern. The bathroom was small too, but very clean. The bed may well be the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, we were very pleased.

We were given some drink vouchers, so spent some time in the hotel bar. It was a great environment, with a band playing, and lots of dancing going on. The service was fantastic, and we even ate dinner in the hotel one night too, and the food was great.

The hotel is next to a convenience store, and supermarket.... which came in handy. There is a McDonalds around te corner, as well as bus stop, and tram stop too. There is also an underground train station about a 1 minute walk from the hotel too.

All in all, we had a great stay here. It's a bit far out from the "happening" places, but very easy to get around by public transport.

MId range price with Business facilities

Rooms are small but this Hong Kong.

Hotel is very modern and rooms are well furnished.

Pool, saunas and very small gym.

Good location to subway and supermarket 2 doors away.

We spent Xmas there for about 600 HK$ a night and it was full of Xmas spirit and great value for money.

Unique Quality: Rooftop pool and very friendly/helpful staff make this great value for money

Good Island Hotel

Found the hotel to be very nicley kept, ie, clean, comfortable bed, good shower & location close to Victoria Park, which is nice to walk through & watch the locals at rest.
Room size is small but comparable with most HK hotels.
I found check-in a bit slow, but that was my only gripe.

Unique Quality: Outstanding views from the roof top pool.
Close to MTR Station

Good Value and well positioned

Mong Kok accomodations

15 minute walk to Ladies market.

Unique Quality: small gym and a pool on roof.

Nice hotel

Just stayed in the Metropark hotel at christmas and can recommend it, it was clean and well run and not overly expensive. It was near a mrt station which made it easy to get to most places.

Unique Quality: The pool which is on the roof is in a great location but unfortunately its not heated so their was not a soul in it.

Away from the bustle and din

The hotel is across the street from Tin Hau MTR station and Victoria Park. The buffet breakfast is not included with the room but during our stay they gave us a 30% discount for breakfast. Our room was a bit small but has enough space to move around even with our bags lying around. They have complimentary coffee and tea but no mineral water. No big deal as there is a Wellcome and 7-11 grocery stores nearby.

Would recommend this place

Unique Quality: They have a open-air rooftop pool with jacuzzi at their topmost floor. The jacuzzi has multiple outlets that give out strong water jets that could really massage your tired back and legs after a whole day of walking.

This hotel is more for the business traveller as there's free internet access cable (no wi-fi) and free shuttle service to the HK convention center that leaves every 30 mins. The shuttle could also transport you to the Causeway area for shopping.
