Tiny rooms

Tiniest standard rooms I think I have ever stayed in. The reception area should have been a warning - everything about this place is small!

At a guess it's a converted office building and promotes itself as the first personalised techotel chain - all electronic appliances 'listen to you' and you can set everything for your own consumption (temperature, music, Skype etc).

The hotel makes use of every available space - on wotif you can get single rooms where it looks as if you can barely stand up straight, and there are bigger rooms available than those we booked. Having experienced the size of the standard room, for 2 people I would pay at least the extra $HK100 for a superior room.

Unique Quality: It isn't a bad hotel, but at 6 foot 4 inches, I found everything too small - the rooms, the lack of space, the reception, even the lift. And as there were 2 of us, it was just too cramped.

One huge advantage is its proximity to the Sheung Wan MTR station which is all of a minute's walk from the hotel.

  • Opinion of Price: less expensive than average
