Can anyone pls give their views on the following Service Apartment?
OLYMPIC TERRACE SUITES
256 Tung Chau Street
How is this place to stay for a week - comfort, cleanliness, and area wise?
I would really appreciate if anyone can help me out here.......
Thanks a ton
the suites is located in Sham Shui Po, apparently not a tourist area except a major shopping centre specialised in computers and games nearby. Not to mention the famous Apliu Street like a street market selling electronic stuffs.
It takes around 5-10 mins walk to nearest MTR station.
I can't comment on the cleanliness nor comfort about the suites since I never staying with.
Need your advice as we are (2 families with 4 kids)looking for a decent apartment with good location for a reasonable price. prefer near to MTR. can I get the contact person & number. your help is highly appreaciated. thanks a lot.
Olympic Terrace Suites offers up to 3 bedroom suites apartments. In Sham Shui Po. Decent and cheap compared to other hotels in town. Downside is a 10min walk to Nam Cheom/Olympic MTR Station.
My mum and i are travelling in febuary, and are looking at an apartment or a one bedroom room, so we don;t kill each other!!! LOL No, she sleeps alot so i want her to rest due to illness.
Can anyone recommend something, very close to transport but not too expensive? We can get two rooms in a hostel, but i am trying for something together....ie tv area, bedroom.
The BP International House on HK Island is a decent and rather inexpensive hotel that offers rooms with a separate living and attached bedroom with large windows that overlook the harbour. Great value for money and you will probably find the nicest outdoor pool in whole Hong Kong.
However, rooms are rather small and old... this hotel is living by its great view and pool.
Otherwise, The Charterhouse Hotel has a suite on its top floors with two separate rooms. The suite is still cheaper than a standard room at a top notch hotel.
What's your budget?
I am looking for arounf the $100 - 120 mark aussie dollars. What is the best web site to book this room through, are they standatrd rooms at the BH or do I need to request direct to the hotel?
If you check my accommodation tips on both hotels, you will find their websites. Check whether they have any special packages during your period of stay.
If they don't have any special promotions, I don't think you will be able to stay at any of these hotels with your budget.
The only chance to find an accommodation with a separate bedroom for your budget might be a hostel or guesthouse... even though I am also rather pessimistic about that.
Maybe you should simply book two rooms at a hostel. Not sure whether your budget is enough for that but it's worth a try...
Again, have a look at my VT HK page for details.
Hi, you may try to check on Olympic Terrace Suites. Quite cheap with a living room and a small kitchen
