Very comfortable, well located with the underground access in the lower floor of the hotel. Dined in the restaurant for breakfast, this being a well featured buffet at a reasonable price, staff were most helpful. One draw back is the ability to try a telephone overseas, of the 5 days I was unable to make any form of international call. Checked with the desk, and pretty well got sold on the local phone card as it was explained to me it would be very expensive to call from room, I would have thought that was my problem. Other drawback, but not hotel problem, is the amount of sidewalk hawkers trying to sell you tailor made suits, becomes very repeatous after 5 days.
Good views from the roof viewing platform, close to all shops, good fun walking up and down Nathan road, Temple street markets are 10 min walk away. Best thing for me was the ability to catch the Underground from hotel basement, I could be in Wan Chi in 10 mins from hotel. | Prudential Hotel: Convenient Place To Stay

I've stayed there 2X and I really like it. It's right above the train ( MTR) station. Rooms are generous, clean. Hotel food ok, but over priced, but there are a whole bunch of small Chinese places to get breakfast right behind the hotel. Breakfast cost me $4. US. There's also a grocery store and a 7/11 1/2 block away. There's laundry down the street, it cost me $6 US. to do about 4 pounds of laundry ,that was done in a couple of hours, and the hotel would have charged me that for only 1 pair of pants! The hotel is at the corner of Kowloon park, which is a great place for some exercise or just a walk. It's really beautiful . I don't have a park view room, but I'm sure it would be beautiful. And a short walk to Tsim Sha Tsui shopping area, and Temple street night market. Much better than staying in the shopping areas, which has become super crowded and over priced. It's across from Yu Wha, Chinese Dept . Store, which is filled with trinkets! And behind Yu Wha are a couple of streets with great local sea food restaurants. There's a decent pool, but not much of a health club/ workout area. To get there, I suggest taking the bus. I think it's $15. US , door to door. The train is a pain with luggage, you have to change trains, and there are a million steps. It's not what you want to do after a long flight. After you get settled go to the MTR ( subway) and get a day pass or an Octupus card to ride the train everywhere else. Go to the attendent booth , they give change and it's the best. If you pay 150 HK ( about $18 US) you can get a stored value pass and you can use it at the 7/11 to buy stuff there too, they also have cheaper ones as well. It's about $ 1-1.50 US to take the subway each trip , and you can use the card on the ferry and busses, etc. Hope this helps!
Convenient! Clean, well run. Theme: HotelPrice: US$80-120 » Currency ConverterComparison: less expensive than averagePhone: 852.2311.8222Directions: Local Shopping Area
