Kowloon's Affordable Hotel

Guys, stayed in this place for about 4 days in June and found that its actually not bad.
Its basically a back-to-basics, no frills type of hotel where you get Value for Money.

Good location (abt 10 mins walk to Jordan Subway and main thoroughfare) and good views of the HK Harbour.
Price wise..depending on the season but last time i paid was abt Sing Dollars 100 per nite. (i think)

Unique Quality: Internet x1
Depending on your room orientation, you can get good views of the HK Harbour.
Mine was superb!

West Hotel

Unique Quality: I have no idea how one would go about booking this hotel, as I can't seem to find them on most online hotel bookers (I did find the phone number which I've listed below). I got my trip through a travel agent and the deal came with five nights in this place.

The room was your basic small hotel room with bed, wardrobe and desk as well as mini 'fridge and TV. The bathroom did not have a tub but the stall shower was fine with me.

The big selling point for me was that they gave you two tea bags when they cleaned the room. Yea, I know that doesn't sound like much, but it was nice to be able to wake up in the morning, plug in the hot water pot and make myself a cuppa before heading out. Oh! And the mugs were nice too. Standard straight sided mugs with a cover, but the YMCA didn't have 'em (nor did they provide tea in the room).

There's cable too.
