fabulous pool
location isn't too bad, it's next to the hung hom ferry which takes you to central or wan chai. the decor is a tad 1980s (think dynasty) but the service is top-class and the pool/ jacuzzi on the roof has awesome views.

Hotel with "Stars"
Situated in water front of Hunghom, with breathbreaking view overlooking Hong Kong's skyline day and night. Harbour Plaza has become popular to the pubilic, include many movie stars and singers.
I choose Club Floor Harbour View room, which is located at highr floor. The room's decoration is modernish and all of them have almost floor-to-ceiling window.
Club Lounge Staff also offer higher level of service quality, some of them even remember who you are during the days u stay. It's a nice hotel that no need to pay much money.
How about select Peninsula for 1 night and Harbour Plaza for the others!

Kowloons Best
Absolutely beautiful Hotel right on the water looking over to downtown Hong Kong. The pool is on the roof of the hotel and has amazing view of all of Hong Kong and Kowloon. Unique roof Pool.
Luxury at Kowloon
This hotel was built to become one of the most luxourious hotels in the Pacific Region. The service here is excellent & the rooms are wonderfully decorated. This hotel offers some of the best views of Hong Kong Island from Kowloon. Getting from the Hung Hom railway station to here is not a hassle.
Harbour Plaza Hotel
Preferred stay your holiday in luxury room which is the room showed in its website. The room is really big enough and comfortable, the shower gel, body lotion is good to use. Because it's not the same if you stay in the lower floor (based one), smaller area, old, cheaper body cream and shower gel ^ ^ This most wonderful view is the swimming pool, it is located top floor of the hotel. It's not very very big, but you can see the panoramic view of Hong Kong island, the opposite side island facing of Kowloon.
On a convenient location
Its my first visit to this hotel, it was nice to stay at this hotel as it was on a handy location near MTR on Tsim sha Tsui.my room was on 15th floor and was lucky to have a view of a harbour. The rooms are small as every hotel in kowloon has but everything in the room are top, a good king size bed tv ,mini bar and inroom dining. I booked this room on the internet, this hotel is part of harbour plaza hotels,which is in good management. Everything was well organised with handy doorman to give good location on where to eat etc. and hotel staff are friendly aswell.theres a pizza restaurant on a 2nd floor.

Hotel IN Hunghom Area
Hello,
I, with some friends, will be visiting hongkong.. we are planning to stay in a hotel that is within the area of hunghom or near whampoa.. Hope to hearing from you.

I haven't stayed there myself but you might want to check out the following two hotels:
1.) Harbour Plaza Metropolis
It's right next to Hung Hom station, about 5 mins walk from Whampoa.
The hotel is pretty new (2002) and offers very good facilities as well as shuttle buses to TST.
2.) Harbour Plaza Hong Kong
2 minutes from the Hung Hom Star Ferry, overlooking Victoria harbour, right next to Whampoa.

As Vita500 said the hotel is quite new, however, the Hunghom faces a very serious problem which is Traffic Congestion. I am working in Hunghom and face this problem every morning and evening. Even there is only 5mins walk from hotel to Hunghom KCR station.
Why don't you stay in Tsim Sha Tsui, it would be more convenience.
