This has to be the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Great staff, helpful, friendly, very polite. Great Location. Fairly quiet roads around the hotel. About 20 min walk from the Star Ferry terminal. Or turn left after going across the skywalk and you'll find the high speed Tsim Sha Tsui boat dock about a 60 second walk away where you can cross the harbour to HKI for just 30 English pennies! The Hotel is just 10 min walk away from Nathan Road. Eating in the hotel can be very expensive. But all the dining area's in the hotel serve great food. Our deal included complimentary breakfast, well worth it. The American breakfast will set you back £20 / US$38 per person per day if you don't manage to get it for free.
Go for the deluxe harbour view room. Well worth the extra spend. The view is fantastic. All that is between your room and the harbour is a quiet (although large) road and the promonade that provides a great view of Hong Kong Island and great for an evening walk.
Rooms are larger than most. Lots of space to put all that junk you take with you but never use or wear! Fanastic bathroom, rooms are done in a modern style that compliments that amazing views and yet acts as a contrast to the stunning grand lobby/entrance.
In a hectic city this is a hotel were you can really relax.
This is one hotel I would visit again....and again....and again......and again......
Great experience. Front desk, bell hops, entire staff were very attentive. If possible try to get access to the Horizon Club. Great views of Hong Kong Island while you eat. Complimentary access to business center as well as 24 hour access to snacks and soda. The breakfast at the Horizon Club is first rate-fresh fruit, dim sum, as well as normal western style breakfast dishes such as steak and eggs. One qualm is not enough seats in the lobby. Right across the street from the MTR/Railway station and short walking distance to Avenue of Stars.
