Value for money
by ROCKARIA about SHAMROCK HOTEL
I have stayed at the Shamrock hotel for 8 weeks during my scholarship studies in hongkong. The hotel is quite value for money considering other prices of similar hotels nearby.
should you walk around the corner you can find plenty of restaurants and eating places but most of the time i was a regular at Pizza hut!
Enjoy
Good dim sum at reasonable prices in Jordan
by aukahkay about Shamrock Seafood Restaurant
The Shamrock Seafood Restaurant is located on the ground floor of the Shamrock Hotel in Jordan. I had delicious dim sum for `yum-char' over the Chinese New Year period. The food is typically Cantonese dim sum served in baskets. Dim sum: prawn dumpling, siew-mai, pork bun, rice roll, pork ribs.
It's a longer visit this time...

by btin
Hiii all
M going to Hong Kong next month.
Anyone knows of Shamrock Hotel, i believe it's along Nathan Road.
Is it convenient?
Nearest to which MTR station?
Is it within walking distant?
Awaiting any response.
Thanks in advance.

Your very close to the Jordon MTR Station. It is a very convenient location within easy walking distance of shopping and restaurants.

Hi Christine,
In the Shamrock you're literally sitting on top of the Jordan MTR station. Exit C1 brings you almost right to the front of the hotel's entrance doors.
Location is superbe. Kowloon Park and the notorious Night Market are almost next door, the lobby brings you straight into the hustle and bustle of Nathan Road and public transportation couldn't be more convenient (MTR, bus, taxi).
As for the hotel itself, I can't tell you much as I haven't stayed there myself but from what I have heard so far, it's one the standard 3-star hotels of Kowloon. No swimming pool, no view (except perhaps for the upper floors) but functional rooms and relatively inexpensive.
Have fun,
Robert
