"Far from the madding crowd"
As you see from the pic the beach is very quiet. We went there over the Christmas period, so the hotels were quite busy. The shacks on the beach provide the sun beds free of charge if you use their shack. Also on the beach you can hire bicycles and the sand is firm along the waters edge. I dont often ride a bike and managed a fair impression of John Wayne when I got off. Great fun !
"UPDATE 2005"
We went again this year, as you can see, its a bit busier with around sixteen shacks with an average of twelve beds each, room for 200 customers.
There was a large increase in hawkers this year with 37 sellers several acrobats, deaf kids and beggars.
In addition there were acouple of jet skis for hire. The way they were being driven is an accident waiting to happen

The dogs can be pretty big here but STUPID !, I threw a stick for this one twenty times, do you think he would fetch it ? Nah ......UPDATE ....these water buffaloes are well treated with daily visits to the beach. It's not that they are animal lovers but these are fighting buffaloes and illegal buffalo fights are held most weekends
