Palm View: Clean budget accom

I had a 3 week stay here and it was wonderful, very quiet, Martins corner restaurant about 400m walk, small shop about 400m walk, bus stop about 200 m walk, This bus can take you the few km into the village or to bigger cities or Majorda. Opposite this accom is a dam with wonderful birdlife, I found this area quite clean by Indian standards. There is a restaurant that can do food deliveries to your room in the evening. Peter the owner is very helpful, can take you places you need be, web site for this accom is not up to date so wont include it. Price was 600 Indian rupees a day for a room for 2 ppl, with aircon, a satelite colour tv with over 100 channel and remote to choose, a fan and light that stays on even when electricity fails.A fridge with a small freezer compartment, Room had bed, 2 plastic chairs. has own bathroom and shower with hot water , western toilet as well . Matresss was comfy, tables and chairs outside under lovely cool palms.

A CLEAN budget accom !!!! Peter can take you to small villages close by, he took me to colva from where you can do government day tours at very cheap prices. I did a North tour, Old Goa and heritage tour, and river tours. Beaches close to here are quite clean, Majorda beach is lovely for swimming with beach shacks. If you look for a cheap quiet place this is for you, if you wanna party, I advise the north ( Calangute)
