I visited goa with my family last month of the march stayed in an Executive room
And the beach is a wakable distance from the room. the sea hilll shack restaurant is really praise worthy. The F&B captain mr jeevan and his all waiters were so friendly and very much hospitable to the customers . we r surprised to see their personalised service .which is out of our expecation .I suggest everyone to visit estrela do mar beach resort and enjoy in their sea hill shack restaurant.
I am recommending this hotel all of my close friends because of its prompt service .
Unique Quality: pool facing rooms , right on the beach, two restaurants , bar with wide range of wine menue

The worst hotel I have ever stayed . The hotel is well advertised on the website . But what you see on the website is just opposite in the hotel. Room size is just like a bathroom 3 Walls room with forth side covered by A glass door " You have to put on curtain for the privacy. Bathroom is just of the size of a toilet in indian trains. Rooms were sticky & Smelling. We arrived at evening checked in , when we reached our room , it was dirty , smelling and of very small size , we called up reception , they changed the room , and other room was provided on first floor , no proper way to reach the first floor, they made a bridge like way on the iron rods to reach the room . Room Size was same again . They then shifted us to a executive room near the pool , again the same size and smelling room , finally we decided NOT TO STAY THERE. we reached the reception after wasting 3 hrs and take a taxi to Alor The Grande where we have stayed last year and finally sleep without any problem .
Unique Quality: Nothing
Directions: Between Baga and Calangute Beach
We were in this hotel for 3 nights and from entering the compound, it has been a shock.
The reception is a little box, the people manning the reception are inefficient, harried but friendly. The room we were alloted was the most expensive but was extremely dark as its only window was facing a corridor. When we asked for a different room, we were given a different one - this one had it's windows facing a garbage dumping place. The balconies were dirty and unusable as the locals used the garbage dumping land outside as a toilet.
We only had breakfast here (since it was included in our room cost) - it was a pathetic fare. The service of this place was bad.
These people claim having direct access to the beach - it's true that there is direct access to the beach - but it isn't through the hotel - one walks through village owned land to get to the beach.
The whole place is a ripoff.
There is a pool but it is uninvitingly dirty.
Unique Quality: None at all
Very friendly staff, nice food, the chef was from Trivandrum in south of Kerala - very skilled. This hotel is owned by a Military man, very nice and friendly, he asked me if id like to borrow his motorcycle - a Royal Enfield 350 cc, but I dont think thats a good idea because the traffic in India is quite dangerous, so I had to turn him down.
The Crows made the night terrible, and it was quite hard to sleep, a few whisky helps ;-)
Unique Quality: A nice swimmingpool, big spacious rooms, AC available, and a short walk to the beach
