whilst the rooms are a little basic, the quality of the service and food more than made up for this. we really enjoyed our stay and coming back this year. Talking to other quests it appears there are lot of return visitors to this hotel. We had never been all inclusive before and had been put off by stories of bad service and poor food, but you can't said that about whispering palms the service was excellent and the food very good with plenty of choice.
We stayed at this Hotel for Christmas and New Year. It was very dissapointing the deluxe room we were allocated was dark and dingy with stained bedspreads.Because of this we paid ?20 a night extra to move into the newly built block. The Hotel facilities are not up to catering for the number of rooms, now well over 100 not 66 as advertised. The Hotel only offers all-inclusive package, but we didnt eat much as the buffet food was hardly warm, I think this prevented us from getting ill as ther were many guests suffering with tummy troubles. The general cleanliness in the restaurant was poor dirty tables etc. We never used the sunbeds or pool as with 220 guests and 40 sunbeds crowded into a very small area it wasnt appealing or worth getting up before dawn to secure a place. Evening entertainment was poor. In all a badly Managed Hotel with problems all round Even the Waiters went on strike, I would not recommend.
