The Oberoi, Wildflower Hall: A luxurious break in the Himalayan Regions

Wildflower Hall is a Hotel when you need that touch of luxury to remind you of comforts - as they are not always available in the more remote regions of Himachal Pradesh, India.

If you have the time and the need for a touch of luxury and class then this is the place to go.

Yet again another hotel - where your worries melt away like the Snowy Himalayan Peaks and if not then utilise the Health Spa and get a damned good massage.

If you cannot stay the overnight - I treated myself to two weekends - then at least go for high team and the cake selection. Scones - Ceylon Tea with Honey - All is the most delightfull terrace overlooking the Himalayas - goregeous.

When you are tired of high tea and luxury you can wander around the grounds of the hotel, where you can brush up on your archery and you gardening knowledge.

The rooms are more than luxuriously set out.

Camping site Himalayan Nature Park Kufri: Nice camping on summer

It's available during spring, summer and autumn. Only 700 metres from the main attraction Nature Park of Kufri.

Sounds of the animals can be hear from this campsite. And pinewood around with fresh air comes into our lungs.

Hotel Amber: Directly to a Buddhist Temple

Well, Kufri is situated nearby Shimla. So, these the alternatives: still stay at Shimla and going to Kufri [only takes less than an hour] everyday or using a tent at camping site nearby Himalayan Nature Park Kufri. At Shimla, I choose Hotel Amber.

This hotel situated in one of the alleys at Shimla and the views from my windows is facing to a Buddhist Temple. So peaceful to hear the belfry sending beautiful sounds every morning.
