Hotel Athityaa: Reception guy has "attitude"
This rather ugly looking hotel is well located opposite the Sarangapani Temple on the main street which is actually quiet overnight. Firstly the guy at reception had a bit of an attitude problem and then the room I had wasn't overly clean with rather basic furniture and lots of stains and marks on the walls. Anyway, I had a non a/c room with a double bed, 2 bedside shelves, 2 armchairs, table, wardrobe/cupboard unit, dressing table/mirror unit, TV, ceiling fan, balcony. This cost Rs450 plus tax. I had lots of big flying insects and a few mozzies around so I was aware of all this during the night plus the odd cockroach!
