Luxury in the Desert
I had an absolutely brilliant time here at Pushkar resorts. The staff were amazing, the location and set-up of the place are fabulous. It doesn't cater specifically to the foreinger or the local traveller but to anyone who wants a good all-round experience. i think one can even play a few holes of golf on the resort. We took the camel rides out in to the desert and it was breathtaking, a very good facility to have in this part of the country. the pool is also a great addition. i loved the individual cottages as rooms they work very well in the setting. there is enough to do in pushkar and the hotel staff are more than willing to help you organise an excursion or some yoga sessions (v reasonable at about 4gbp) but at the same time there is nothing stopping you from just lying around, or walking through the orchards on the resort itself.

Hotel Palace Jagat Singh
amazing hotel, with cheap price, strongly recommended ...the view of the room balcony is great and the hole hotel is like a monument...I was so surprised about the cheap prices of the best hotels in India...the only bad thing about thsi hotels is the food, breakfast no so good...well,if you were since child educated in western food, maybe you wont like....

Puhkar guest hosue
The rooms are large and clean (accordign to Indian standards). The food is ok, teh staff is kind. Az 1350 R a kétágyas szobáért viszont nem kevés.

A Better Hotel ....
I was disappointed when I couldn't get a room at the Pushkar Palace, but pleasantly suprised to find that Pushkar Palace was a much better alternative.
I like to drink beer and eat good food, and this was literally the only hotel to get either.
The rooms are individual little cottages on a nice garden property. You can grab a beer at the restarant and relax by the pool for a break from the chaos of the town.
Unique Quality: Nice pool, clean rooms, good restaurant, cold Kingfisher.
It's a 10 minute ride into town by the lake, but a better alternative to the congested streets around Pushkar Palace.
