Times square hotel: A very smart hotel &Restaurant
The Tines Squre hotel was recomended to us by Soujanya who lives in hyderabad. And what a brilliant choice. Its just small distance from all noisey city traffick. the rooms are VEry clean also the linen. room service is great .
The staff are always checking to see if you need anything.
Also there is an ajoining restaurant also open to the public Superb food. And not exspensive.
We stayed for four nights and really enjoyed our stay.
Must point out tho it is a bussiness hotel.
Unique Quality: The restaurant is a must. and also the traditional doormen in their in thier very colourfull atire

Yatri Niwas: Good Hotel
The room was clean and well done. it had all one could desire in a economy room. TV , AC , welcome tray of goodies.
The bathroom was alright , nothing great
Unique Quality: the front desk was helpful. the room was excellent. It is in prime location of Hyderabad ( Secuderabad ) and has the government tourist stop next to it where you can catch outstation buses and local tour buses.

Hotel Suhail: Great Find
Most travellers skip this city which I think is an absolute waste because Hyderabad is one of the most enjoyable cities in Southern India. Hotel Suhail is located in a great spot near Abids circle and rooms are great. They are big, airy and offer sat TV for 450 rupees for a double. The rooms vary but the Tv less rooms are good too. There is a 24 hour check out which is brilliant if you have a late train.

Anmol intercontinental: Not the cleanest, but can tolerate for a night
All we did was spend a night there, so I did not care much. But it was one of the less clean rooms that I had stayed in India. There was no separate tub or shower, it was the standard Indian bucket and spicket for bathing the traditional indian way, had a western commode.
This hotel would suit Indian travellers better than international travellers. But the price is significantly less compared to other hotels in the same area. The people in the lobby were nice. We left early so did not have a chance to try their breakfast which was included as a part of the room costs.
This hotel will allow more than 2 people to stay in their rooms and will provide additional mattresses for 400Rs.

Viceroy Hotel
The hotel is really nice and it's situated on the bank of Hussain Sagar lake. I stayed there during my business trip and it's really convinient. The service is excellent and staff is really friendly. Food is great.

the players village: recently built...
These appartment blocks were built to be sold at a later date. Located on the outskirts of the city, these were were made available for the players for the period of the Hyderabad National games.

This is one of the nicest place in Secunderabad.
Its on Airport Road, Secunderabad
Excellent cuisine...They have a very special sweet dish made here...actually it is made of Garlic, Milk and Jaggery...but when I tasted it I couldn't believe it was made of Garlic...no traces of Garlic odour!!! The restaurant staff told us that it takes 2 comlete days to disappear that GArlic smell...You must taste it...

I strongly recommend this place. As I have stayed here for 3/4 days and had a wonderful service by the staff!!!
Its near Tank Bund Road near Husain Sagar lake...get the grandeur view of the city during night time....you should ask for the room facing the lake!!!
