Cyberabad!
by Donna_in_India
Many people would not find this interesting or a "thing to do", but since we are in the IT business my husband and I wanted to check out the area known as Hi-Tech City/Cyberabad. We have watched all the companies coming into the different cities in India for the past 5+ years. All of this has led to all kinds of growth, building, traffic, etc. Some of it good, some of it not so good. We were pretty surprised at all the companies in Hyderabad, as well as all of the buildings coming up - both commercial - and residential to house all the techies.
Check out the Aliens Space Station 1 residential complex: http://www.aliensspacestation1.in/htmls/home.html

They are building several more hotels in the area and are also building a new road to the (great, new) airport to connect it directly to the area without the need to travel through the "city".

"Introduction"
If you land in Hyderabad on a tour. Best places to visit are organised by AP Tourism Development Corporation. You can safely have good Hyderabadi cuisine food in all big hotels preferably drink mineral water with the food. APTDC is organising paying guest accomodation as an experience(i.e. Stay with any registered Hyderabad family). Local places of interest will be to visit Golconda fort(sound and lights show), Charminar, Salarjung museum, Ramoji rao's film city, Birla marble temple.
Keep in mind Hyderabadi food will be hot and spicy but definitely tasty.
The APTDC is developing a buddhist tourist places circuit which is bound to generate interest of tourists. These places are being projected very strongly as tourist destinations and infrastructure is being developed.
