by kroy1811

Dears, will arrive in Hyderabad and plan to take trip to Jaipur.

Q: is there any budget return flight from Hyderabad-Jaipur-Hyderabad?
Q: any suggestion which travel agencies to contact once arrived in Hyderabad ? Interested to take package tour, if possible include plane tickets.

Thanks

Its better for you to reach jaipur and then look for a package at jaipur cos ...its not economical for you to look for a package from Hyderabad as thatz a starnge combination ..Hyderabad is in the south & jai pur is in the north of India. I can give you information about the flight details and train details to jaipur from Hyderabad if you require.
have fun

Hey dude,
Hope you are doing fine.Welcome to India.
Following are your answers:
(1)Return Flights fare depends upon time to time.Early you book cheaper is your fare. For example currently, if you book two weeks in advance for hyderad -jaipur, fare will be close to 8000-9000 indian rupees.
Please note there are no direct flights to jaipur, they are mostly via mumbai, ahmedabad or delhi.
(2) For a package tour, please forget that it is not as smooth as in europe or americas. I would suggest you better try one of these options.
a.If you dont want to search anything:
go to jaipur, take a hotel, make a calm stay without going outside.search it out thr, take the help of local hotel stafff and some other outside travel agents your hotel people will book easily.Only thing is money you need to bargain about.
b.Good travel agencies are there, google about local jaipur websites, search good travel agencies, mail them in advance and negotiate the prices and you might have airport pickup and drop free including ur tour/package without any worries.

Keep a note,It is not in jaipur only, there are in and around jaipur lot many forts and other places that are must to visit.

If you are in hyderabad and need any help, you are welcome anytime.Hyderabad is home to me for past more than 2 years and i hail from north india.

Hope it helps,

Harman

Travel Tips for Hyderabad

"pearl city"

by datojow

I've been told many times when visiting Hyd that another name for the city is "pearl city". I've purchased pearls there a couple times. You should go and find this out for yourself, but since you look American (i.e., have money) you should have an Indian acquaintance do the negotiating for you. :-)

Multi Cuisine

great ambience, few tables, bit rush, but u could get a place within 10-15 mins.
Runs till late midnight, Liquor is served too. North Indian , lots of lamb curries and chicken curries, served hot.

History revisited

You can have few places to see and feel the history of hyderabad. I would list them in order of preference to visit them.

1) Charminar -- four towers building. this is more than 400 years old. This is a symbol of love , on line with taj mahal. It is surrounded by good shops for hand work, pearls, bangles, perfumes etc.

Next to charminar is mecca masjid, it is also a very old mosque. ladies need to check if they are allowed. Avoid going on fridays

2) Golconda fort -- A very old construction which stood many wars. You can see how science was used in those days. It has one of the best water system, sound messaging system ( u can talk to some one 1 km away), air cooling systems. Take a Guide to explain you everything, as we will not understand the importance of many things

3) Faluknama Palace : Latest of all the constructions, built by the nizams. It has some of the best works. You can spend some time seeing how luxurious life the nizams had. It has a dining table that can seat 220 people.

4) Qutubshahi Tombs : These are the tombs where the qutubshahi dynasty are laid to rest. Attched images of all the places. There are few other places, but they are not well maintained and have been to ruins.

Come to Hyderabad and Live !!!

"Come to Hyderabad and Live !!1"

HYDER= Brave
ABAD= the living, the prospering, The Happy.

we have Golconda Fort, Charminar, Mecca Masjid, Masab Tank, Hussain Sager, Parade Grounds, Abids, Nampally, Secundrabad, Toli Mosque, Begum pet, Osmania University, Salarjung Museum, Birla Mandir, Toli Masjid, Legislative Assembly, etc.,

There was a man Hussain Shah Wali, people were dying from lack of water and draught and they went to this pious man Hussain Shah Wali to give them solution, he was hardworking, he took with him 400 men and women and started digging a man made pond. This is now known as Tank Bund,
Now this pond is lined by a beautiful road, called Necklace Road, 18 Km. long, there is I-Max Shopping Complex and theater along it with numerous parks, Boats Club, Ferry Rides, and Afloat Restaurant on a yacht.

Legislative Assembly is near it and there is open air theater, Ravindra Bharati a drama and stage theater, Nampally Railway Junction, a Bogie repair yard biggest in South India. Police Central Control Room, Birla Mandir made of Marble and artistically lit up in the night Abids Circle, this has the biggest shops concentration in one area since now 150 years.

We are a city famous of Gem Traders so we have CARAVAN just look at this whole area to know the beauty of planning went in it. The KOHINOOR was cut in this area of the old, this is one cluster of things I describe and if I go on like this. 8000 words limit of mouthshut will not be enough for me.

We have Fateh Maidan Stadium, it has got this name for being a camp to the Armies of the 1st.Nizam (Administrator) this is the meaning of word Nizam, we have Lakdi-ka-pool (Wood Bridge) very old, Salarjung museum (Biggest collection of artifacts by a single man) Golconda Fort (450 Years old) Osman Sagar a beautiful lake, Zoological Park where we have safari rides, we are inside a bus and Lions are free around us, there is a cute meter gauge train ride for about 45 minutes along the zoo.

We have big network of metro trains commuting from east to west and north to south every area is accessible, we have city buses in every nook and corner of the city, we have Auto-Rickshaw 3 wheel, yellow color, black top like cute butterflies spread on all roads of Hyderabad, they charge you with meter no bargains no headaches, get on get down and pay the meter, call taxis available everywhere, go see Badshahi Ashur Khana, 7 Tombs, many other worth visiting places.

Everything is cheap in Hyderabad; Everyone is bigger than you in other part of the world, the Shop Owner, the Taxi Driver the Bus Conductor, the Restaurant Waiter, but in Hyderabad culture the SPENDER is the BOSS.

I always find people smiling on Airport and Railway stations of Hyderabad, it may be because of the humor of Hyderabad, you hear loud sounds of laughter all around, because We all owe these achievements to our delicious Biryani.

We have BIRYANI everywhere in the world: Hong Kong, Karachi, Chicago, Toronto, London, New Jersey, Melbourne, Sydney, Auckland, Wellington, Jeddah, Dubai, and Cairo, come taste Hyderabad Biryani and tell us, we want it from your mouth.

There was a plague in old times; the King Quli Qutub Shah(Ibrahim) built CHARMINAR as a triumph over this plague.

We say come to Hyderabad and learn to live life, we have around 2500 water bodies in and around, no severe cold and heat, we have moderate temperature ranging from 15 to 40 degrees. Easy transport, cheap shopping, good food, happy people (no resentment) and loads of History and pretty Geography.

We have International Airport, No Sea though, well connected by Road Network and Air to all parts of India, we are 600 Km from Mumbai (Bombay) 550 Km from Chennai (Madras) 450 Km from Bangalore. Modern Hyderabad is improving fast, roads widening, townships, arcades, malls, formula one circuit, flyovers, stadiums are being constructed at supersonic speed and still a flat in prime location cost Rs.700,000/= (US$ 15,500) is that CHEAP or what ?

Yo World checkout Hyderabad, a city of History and pretty Geography!!!!!
