Tailors for women's clothes in Hyderabd

by Amy01

Hello all,
My husband had some really lovely suits made while he was in Hyderbad.
I was wondering if it was possible to have dresses made in Western styles, but using the lovely materials that they have here? Can anyone recommend a dress maker/tailor?
Thanks once again for your help
Amy

Amy-most Indian tailors are adept at copying and creating any form of clothing that you would like.I have many articles that were made up for me to my size and specification. The choice of fabric is never a problem.

Hello Amy,
You could try the tailor in Kalaniketan. Her name is Nagamani, her no. is 09246335254.She is available at the somajiguda branch of kalaniketan wedding mall. You can mention that the owner's neighbour who comes to her, referred you to her.
otherwise you can go to Prashanthi tailor in Film nagar Road no.10,who is much cheaper, but is not prompt in his delivery.but he is a very good tailor.his shop is very near the saibaba temple in film nagar road no.10.(opposite paritala ravi's house)anyone will tell you if you give these details, even auto drivers will guide you.
There are many more tailors here who will do a good job.but these are the ones that I know.
for materials go to Nalli silks in begumpet;indian emporium(for high end,exclusive materials) in somajiguda;narsing in ameerpet;
i am a shopping freak who is taking a break these days,so dont hesitate to ask me any clothes/jewellery related query!!!
have fun,

Travel Tips for Hyderabad

Fruit and vegetables

by blusky

it's an open air market I must admit that I haven't bought anything, taking into concern the possible healt problem, however there are so many kind of fruits and vegetables and it's nice to hear the pulse of the city while inhabitants bargain for their favourite peace of fruit.

Hussain Sagar Lake

by Kumarjit

Hyderabad is a city which has a number of lakes. The most picturesque among them is Hussain Sagar Lake. It is a big water body which lies between the twin cities of Hyderabad and Secunderabad. It was built by Hussain Shah Wahi in 1562. The most remarkable feature of the lake is the huge statue Of Lord Buddha situated at the middle of the lake. The lake looks more beautiful at night with lights all around. The vendors near the lake sell snacks and other tit-bits. Many people come in the evening to take a stroll with their families and loved ones. Near the Hussain Sagar Lake is the Lumbini Park, which is an amusement park for the young as well as the old. You should not miss these places if you are visiting Hyderabad.

"Arriving in Hyderabad"

Like most airports in India, as soon as you leave the terminal, you are met with a frenzy of cab drivers attempting to offer you a ride to your destination. It's best to go to the pre-paid taxi booth and arrange for transportation rather than haggling with the free lance drivers attempting to offer you a ride.

As for the airport itself, it is very new and very modern. Wi-Fi internet access is available, there are lots of shops, and the staff is friendly. As a growing IT Hub for India, Hyderabad with its International Airport is growing quickly with many international connections through Europe, Asia, and Africa as well as full access to all domestic airports.
