Hello all,
I am in Hyderbad currently on busines bit after the assignment ends, I am going trekking in the OOty and around the tea plantations/wildlife sacntuaries in Kerala.
Please couold someone recommend a shop or a chain that speialise in outdoor clothing for trekking? or any other shop where it could be bought?
This would be in Hyderabad.

you could try sports shops in M.G.Road in secunderabad.there are a few in the row of shops opposite the gandhi statue in m.g.road.the names of the shops are Regal sports,indiana sports and sachdeva sports.if you need track suits and shoes,it is better to go to proline or reebok or nike stores.there is also a brand factory outlet which has good discounts on branded clothes ,shoes etc..it is located in Lumbini mall in road no.1,banjara hills.

There are many multi brand outlets that sell wildcraft gear, maybe Vpas can give the local Just Dial number (it is normally the citycode followed by 22222222) and you can call them to check the one nearest to where you live. For a Nilgiri trek or a trek in Kerala I would recommend you take gear from this brand as it specialises in outdoor/treks, I have been trekking for the last 10 years and I always swear by this brand.

This shop specialises in rich zari, zardozi and silk embroidered outfits like Khada Dupatta, which is usually worn by brides on their wedding day, Sharara, Peshwas and sarees....this is a one stop shop for people looking for exquisite and detailed Hyderabadi wear. Again the designs and colours are varied and fall within the budget.
While in Hyderabad, eat out. The cuisine will astonish you with its color, aroma and variety. I would highly recommend places like Madina in the Old City and Paradise in Secunderabad. Stay away from "Hyderabad House" chain of restaurants. They are really bad.
Oh yes....dont forget the desserts!
Our main reason for visitng Hyderabad was to meet up with a few facebook &VT friends SOujanya my friend of about thre to four years was first on the agenda :-)) And what a wonderfull happy go lucky girl she is (when she is not doing exams that is ) And when she asked us to come and meet her family that was a great honour/and privilege.What a lovley family :-)) Thanks again Souj
