Vijayawada's best hotel
I have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 different years.
It is the best hotel in Vijayawada. The rates are higher than some other hotels in this city, but the difference in price is worth it.
Each morning, there is a buffet breakfast. You also receive a free copy of The Hindu newspaper at your door. (The restaurant is NOT vegetarian).
The hotel has several restaurants. At least one is open 24 hours a day.
Free strong boxes are available for valuables.
The staff makes you feel welcome and important--at least for about 3 days.
The only negative is that after several days, the staff generally ignores you, making it a little more difficult to get prompt service when you need it. This is a minor detail.
I have taken visitors from the U.S. to this hotel each time I have traveled to Vijayawada. Everyone is always impressed with the facilities.
I have also had Indian friends stay here. They all are impressed also.
I would compare this hotel to something like Hampton Inn or a Clarion in the U.S. It is that nice!
Good security. The hotel also has a generator when the electricity is cut (almost every day--it seems).
Unique Quality: Air conditioned. Near the train station. Shopping nearby. Western Union next door.
