Our first cheap Hotel was terrible and so after one night we change for a little oppulence. Good food, a swimming pool and did I say good food? Sometimes when travelling countries like India one should spend a little money some time and treat yourself. Afterwards you can go back to slumming it.

Visited the Regional Research Laboratory: amazing to find a well stuffed library in a "samll" and remote place like Jorhat.

Nicest memory: 3 hrs drive to a national park through the tea plantations of Assam.
