Raju's guesthouse,Goshaini,near Kullu: If you want to relax you cannot miss this place

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying here.The accomodation tariff includes food -- all meals,tea etc..It is in an apple orchard.The rooms are clean and comfortable made of wood-- typical mountain houses.Most rooms can accomodate two or three people(adults and child)there are also family rooms,with a connecting door.There is decently stocked library.the garden is free to be used with hammocks in shaded corners.The best part is the river flowing just below the house.to enter one has to use a ropeway across the river.

Unique Quality: Homely environment,great food,superb setting,clean surroundings and unspoilt by tourists.

Situated in the heart of Chamba city.Clean rooms attched bath hot and cold water.

A littel hard drive on nero road but when arrive there feel like Paridage very testey food friendley staff and peaceful place for good relax . Car parking, resturant.

Unique Quality: Each room has attached balcony offers you a panoramic view of the forest on one side and the high snow clad peaks on the other.British wooden flooring with attached bathroom.

Hotel Tara Garh Palace: Taragarh Palace

In 1931, the 27 year old Nawab of Bahawalpur (Pakistan) built large European-style summer residence for himself up in the cool Himalayan jungle of Kangra district . He laid out lush gardens, built a glass pleasure pavilion and a mosque and christened his country palace Al Hilal ( The Crescent Moon ).
Formerly known as Alhilal (land of the crescent moon). It was bought by the royal family of Jammu & Kashmir in 1951 for the dowager Maharani who lived there for several years. It is now run as a hotel by the present royal family of Jammu & Kashmir.

Banjara camps, Sangla: Camping in Sangla

Each of the walkways to the tents are lined with flowers. I was told that once these would die, the next bunch suited to the temperature would grow. The keep alternating them so that there are always flowers everywhere

Banjara camps, Sangla: Camping in Sangla

This is the best place to stay when visiting Kinnaur. The staff is excellent and food fabulous. There are luxury tents with running hot water!! At 9000 feet above sea level, one needs hot water. They are located in a village called Batseri a little away from Sangla town.

This is a good place to make as base if one wants to go trekking in the mountains around this area. There are some glaciers close by and they offer a few day trips that take you trekking in the mountins close by.

Unique Quality: The tents are clean and spacious and the camp is located on the banks of the river Baspa. This is a tributary of the mighty Sutluj. There is a dining tent where all guests have their meals. One is woken up with hot 'chai' (tea) in the morning by very pleasant and warm staff.

Surabhi Guest House: Clean and Neat

Located on the main road in Vashisht leading up to the Baths, Surabhi Guest House is a very good option for the budget traveller. Though thereare cheaper alternatives in Vashisht, this one has good clean rooms and prompt service.

Unique Quality: Beautiful views of the beas River and the Manali valley. There are newer rooms built upstairs. All rooms have a balcony and come with a geyser for hot water.
The average rate depending on the season is anywhere between 250 - 350 rs.
