I am planning for a vacation in Manali during 15th to 20th December.
Can I get to enjoy snowfall during that time?

Snowfall cannot be predicted but there are chances for you to enjoy it during december. Otherwise you can go a bit up (on the way to Rohtang Pass) and you'll find lots of snow....

Oh ok, snow will be present in Rohtang pass region even during December!!

We were in Manali during the same time few years back and we did see lot of snow, but the sad part was that rohtang pass was closed due to excess snow. Take your chance and maybe upon ur arrival only the snow will start to welcome you :).

Hi if you want to see & feel the snow, then dec, Jan is the best time to go
I went to Manali, Rohtang pass in oct 2006 & luckily there was snow & snow fall.

Travel Tips for Manali
Place by the mountains!

Manali was one of the first places we went to see in India. The main idea was to reach the Himalayas, but unfortunately we didnt manage to do so. This year in India was very late spring and even it was April all roads to the mountains was still closed.
We even wasnt lucky to see them from the distance, because of the big fog. I would say that it is not fair, but i dont think that could change sth. :)
Other then that, Manali is nice, enough small town and i suppose later, after they open the roads, it is packed with mountaineers and backpackers.
