Where to purchase Cheap Laptop online

by Linda010277

Hi all,
I'm visiting Bangalore in Mid-June and going there for a 3 months assignment.
Can any one suggest me any online website from where I can purchase Laptop.
I was Googling but no luck.
And would it be cheaper to buy there or carry one from here?

- Linda

Welcome to Bang..
Get ready for Mansoon it is going to be here soon, alreadyheavy rain.

For Laptop there are not many online shops in India. Dell sells online.

There is one shop which I often use -
See if it helps.

I think you can better buy laptop in USA and carry with you as you are allowed to carry one laptop in India.

Good luck.

Telling you frankly, instead of purchasing electronics from india will be foolish idea.
Better , you take a laptop of your choice on rent. Its rental would be depending upon your bargaining power. You can try better shops inbanglore and for three months, i think it should cost around 9-12K.

Hi Linda,

I dont know if you've already bought your laptop. I can take you to S.P Road in bangalore and you'll find all the gadget stuff there. I'm free during the weekends to help you.

Contact me if you still haven't got one.

Travel Tips for Bangalore

1912 formerly, 180 Proof

by ChuckG about 1912

Update Dec05 (Thanks cuppadamoksha !)

180Proof is now closed and a new revamped lounge bar has opened there...its called 1912. Try it out !

BEFORE: 180 Proof
It's a dance club in the front part, a lounge at the back. Very modern and located right off.

The place has a very high ceiling and the DJ Booth is up in the air. Quite impressive.

The nightlife IN Bangalore stops quite early by law. Better show up early because by 11PM...things start to close. Proper attire required. Show up with girls if you don't want to sweat for a few hours outside.
