Inexpensive No-Frills Clean Accomodation

Hotel Brindavan on MG Road, Bangalore (one of the main arterial roads) is a boon for travellers who want a clean yet inexpensive place to camp. Don't expect luxury, but the staff is polite and willing to help. Though you'd wish they were better communicators.

I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to use the place only as a place to crash at night. The food served in the very simple restaurant is vegetarian, but quite wholesome. I ate there just a couple of times but I liked the Bissi Bele Baath (an indigenous rice dish with mishmash of vegetables) and the usual Vada-Sambhar.

The biggest advantage has got to be the location. MG Road is a hub of activity and is well-connected with Brigade Road, Commercial Street and other important roads.
