French conversational practice

by sumita28

Hello,
We are indians and have re-located to bangalore recently and stay on airport road. I have two sons aged 5 and 1. My 5 year old son speaks fluent french which he learnt from where we have come (europe). Im afraid that if he doesnt practice it he will forget his french which I dont want. I would love to make friends and meet up with anyone who can spare some time maybe once a week or so just to have conversations with him in french.Any young teachers out here ? or xpats who would like to meet up? or any other suggestions for classes etc please. thanks a lot. You can email me at tandon.sumita@gmail.com if interested.

The other option is Alliance Francaise De Bangalore. they are located off Millers Rd. They have a lt of activites no necesarily in the form of french classes- they rganize workshops, they have well stocked library with frech mags , audio & video . You son will be able to find people that he can converse with very easily here.

Travel Tips for Bangalore

Thai restuarant

by grets about Taj West End HOtel

We were recommended the Thai restaurant by Simon, and thought we'd give it a try. The setting was very pleasanr within the gardens, and the staff very nice. Both David and I love spicy food, so we ordered something hot and spicy from the menu! My Gawd, it was spicy! Even for my palate which is accustomed to very flavoursome food, it was a little too much. It was very nice though.

Garden City renamed as Traffic City

"About Bangalore"

I moved to Bangalore from Oct-2005. A recent migrant among the hundreds everyday. Best about Bang is its weather like all have told u. U can jog and still not sweat. Now coming to places must visits is Koshy Restaurant near MG Road, walks across city u can see amazing architecture still maintained.
Lot to see like Bull Temple, LalBagh, other that if u are commercial lover..go discover the malls.

"Around Bangalore- Nandi Hills"

2 cars of office collegues, we drove on Sunday early morning.
A clean non traffic drive, with splendid "ghats" ascending the mountain.
the mountain provides nice views of the deccan expanse.
a rustic temple showing an energy zone. with nice hot coffee and bread omlette shivering in cold is nice experience.
yes, planning for a sunday breakfast..from bang..drive to nandi hills..and energize urself..

Thats Amit, Naveen Malhotra, Apun, Naveen's wife, and Sudeep atop Nandi Hills..searching for a hot chai on chill breeze..
