A typical road in Bangalore
wd like to have some recommendations on
1 value for money pubs in bangalore. not high end places but places where u can have reasonably good food good ambience for friends to ciollect and have a good time.
especially around seshadri road and surrounding 4 kms
2 good places to eat food which will be open quite late into the night.

windsor pub is good it is off cunningham road.
cant think of anything else right :)
Port of pavilion & green house, princes bar in gandhinagar, are all near to sheshadri road
seshadri road is the wrong place for pubs, you will find bars there....your better off around m.g.road for pubs...all pubs shut shop by 11.30pm(last order 10.30pm)...if you can make it to the pubs before 8pm on weekdays, its happy hours...no shortage of pubs around m.g.road....
windsor pub serves beer only...just in case you are not the beer types....and its coorgie & kerala food....plays good retro/country music
pecos on brigade road is also good...again only beer....
pubs rates are more or less the same...a mug of beer is rs50/ ....
Oh yeah pecos.. i totally forgot about it.. Dont forget about the sunday brunch at Pecos .. that is do die for !!!!!!!
The brunch at pecos is on saturday's as well and sunday's too.
*Pecos - Classic rock music, simple ambience, decent food (Church Street)
*Purple Haze - Hard Rock, Old Music (Residency Road) - They usually have cover charges after 6pm and on weekends
*Downtown (Residency Road)
*NASA Pub, Church Street
The oldest temples seem to be the less prettiest, but when you look further and ask some locals to join you, you get to see much more then you thought. You can see more about the miraculous old temple complex of Orcha in my TRAVELLOGUE...
This large impressive building was originally known as the Attara Kacheri when it was built in 1864. It is a two storeyed building with Corinthian columns in the Gothic Style of architecture, painted a rather intense red and is located at the entrance to Cubbon Park. The Public offices (Secretariat of the Government of Karnataka) were located here from 1868 to 1956, which were later moved to the Vidhana Soudha, opposite it. The building now accommodates the Karnataka High Court.
