Like to know good international schools for middle and high school kids who are from US and have no knowledge of Hindi/Kannada. Any comparison between different international schools
Also good location to stay near school and where it jobs.
You should personally visit the schools to evaluate them. There are various international schools that offer different types of curricula. Indian schools have 3 terms; namely June-August, Sept-December, and January-March. (Summer is the hot season from March-May/June).
Bangalore International School (BIS), Canadian School of India (CIS), International School of Bangalore, Hebron School, Kodaikanal International School, Mallya Aditi International School are a few that have primary-12th. Most run on British system, but some offer choices.
I don't have kids, so I can't give you personal feedback. Try contacting the Overseas Women's Club (OWC), which is a non -profit group for ex-pats. They should be able to give you some guidance. I believe they have a website....

After walking around Brigade road looking for SIM card for my worldphone, time for lunch. Ponnusamys is right on Brigade road, recommended by natives. Unpretentious. LIke the japanese say, food should tantalize all taste buds not just some of the six varieties of taste buds we have, that Ponnusamys does. An incredibly tasty Vegetarian Meals meaning a full meal, of rice and various curries and condiments. The price was ridiculously low even to mention. Service attentive and good as they are in the middle class restaurants in Bangalore
