Need a visa to travel to INDIA

by ozrev

I am Arslan from Pakistan. I have to visit Banglore and some other cities of India this month for business purposes as well as of course tourism.
I was wondering how i could get my visa to India from Pakistan? What will be the expenses for thetravel to Banglore including a trip to Agra? I've heard that Indian embassy is very reluctant in giving visas to Pakistanis and takes considerable amount of time in granting any visas.
Also please let me know the exact location of Indian embassy in Pakistan and how to go for the Visa process?.
From where in Pakistan i can get the ticket of the bus service from Lahore to Delhi and at what cost?
Any other advise that wuld like to give me regarding my travel to India keeping in view of the adverse relations of the two countries?
I shall be highly onliged for your help.
Thanking You in Advance
Punjab, Pakistan

Travel Tips for Bangalore

Festive atmosphere of Dassara

by cochinjew

This is a three day long ( it looked like a week long ) celebration, each of the days dedicated to various gods or godesses. The entire city and I am told, the entire nation celebrates this holiday, decorating their homes, their vehicles and their shops. This is a good time to be in Bangalore to witness the religious ritualistic energy all around you.
This lady is decorating the motorcycle so that a puja (a kind of prayer ritual ) could be done and blessings offered to the motor vehicle for its safety and the safety of its riders.

Mouth watering sweets

by abi_maha about Sri Venkateshwara Sweets

This is not exactly a restaurant thought they do serve some chaats, sweets and other dishes here unlike before, howver it is one of the most popular places where you can get yourself some of the best Mysore Pak in the world- this is a sweet that's authentic to Karnataka and in this place it is simply superlative delicious, made of pure ghee!
Try the Badam halwa as well if you have a sweet tooth!
This small store sells about 40 kilos of Mysore Pak everyday! Patronized by celebrities and localites alike this is the place to head to in Bangalore for sweets! More than fifty years old this is the place where all of us pick up sweets for any special occasion, truly an authentic bangalore experience! Do not miss! Mysore Pak ofcourse- it just melts in your mouth!!

Travel tips ! This could go on and on...

let me guide you into the city first.
You can fly in from almost any destination with a airport within India.

and so would the Trains or Buses do....throw you into the sought after IT capital of India.

Activities to be done when in Bangalore are in plenty. Great Pubs/Clubs on the first place for your night experience. don't miss some popular restaurants like KOSHY's, AIRLINES, COFFEE HOUSE and MTR (if you are foriegner).

Shopping in Brigade Road, MG Road and Commercial Street are Hot amongst the people around. Tourist looking for Silks and stuff like that end up in these places and also end up paying more! ( write to me on maybe i can guide you to some sensible places, where you don't spend so much of money)

Places to vist are in plenty, like the Lal Bagh, Cubbon Park, Vishveshwariah Centre for science, Planetorium, Vidhana Soudha, High Court, Palace grounds and a long drive around bangalore on the Outer Ring Road.

Some amazing Temples are found in and around bangalore, which really are worth visiting.

other activities would be Bowling and Go Karting which the hottest things happening.
