Another stretch of shopping, similar to Brigade Road is Commercial Street.
I personally didn't like Commercial Street as much as Brigade Road, but it depends on what you like.... Commercial Street is best for clothes shopping and is much bigger than Brigade Road clothes... clothes... and more clothes Perhaps a little more expensive than average
The Vidhana Soudha is a huge edifice of a building that is the seat of Karnataka's Legislative Assembly. It was built between 1951 and 1956 and covers an area of 700 feet by 350 feet making it the largest legislative building in India. Its eastern facade has a porch with 12 granite columns, 40 feet tall, above which is inscribed the sentence "Government Work is God's Work", which I found quite funny. The Karnataka government has constructed a replica named Vikasa Soudha to the south of the building.
