Try ASHA, CRY and other NGOs to get leads. Usually orphanages are not open to allow strangers... handling kids is senstive issue.
Yuva lok is palce that homes unwed mothers , looks after abandoned babies. all they need is voluteers to go hold the newly born babies , carry them around .Give thm some human contact.. there are so many babies there and noone to carry them or pacify them.. :(
