I found roundtrip flights on Air Deccan's website for about rs. 5500. Anyone know of cheaper airlines or other places to look?

HI,suggest you not to take Air Deccan. That is what happened to me-I am a Foreigner in Bangalore. My husband and I wanted to travel to Goa to spend weekend there. May 12, we reserved tickets from Air-Deccan Company around 2:45pm from Bangalore to Goa on May 19 and come back on May 21 in the evening. Also we reserved the hotel in Goa. But on May 17th, Agency informed us that our flights have been cancelled. We changed a little bit to leave about 11:45 on May 19. In the morning of 8am, AXX DXXXXX called us that they cancelled the flight again and they have no flight to Goa on that day. And they asked us the penalty charges from Goa to Bangalore part when we wanted to cancell the whole trip. How can we fly there on Sat noon and come back Sunday noon??Still hotel will charge our cancellation fee as well. You want to have the suffering experience from Air-Deccan? Please try to reserve tickets from them! You'll never forget it in your life!!I don't want it to ruin my weekend any more!!!
I've tried quite some restaurants in Bangalore on my various visits, but this is my favourite. Very good indian food in a traditional setting at a reasonable price (at least through the eyes of a European).
As the restaurant has two floors there is quite some room, so reservations are generally not required. Also visited by a lot of locals (which to me also is a recommendation)
Note: I don't have a picture as I generally do not take pictures of restaurants.
Having flown into Goa but wanting to visit somewhere else in India, before we travelled up to stay with friends in Mumbai, we simply went to Goa's main bus stand to find what seats were available and were lucky enough to get seats on the bus to Bangalore.
We liked the city very much and were glad to go there, as it seemed vey different to the other areas we visited. It also enabled us to visit Mysore and the Brindavan Gardens on a one day tour, which we really enjoyed.
I found it a nice place to shop for fabric and bought some lovely silk and embroidered cloth. We really enjoyed visiting the shop in the picture, which is probably the largest fabric shop I've been in and had fashion shows, a beauty salon and workshop rooms where you could see their creations in progress. They even had an artist who would paint a picture of the customer's choice onto a sari or piece of cloth to be made into a garment. There was a toyshop upstairs too and the owner had comissioned an open air temple behind the shop building.
