Hi

The best hotel in Bangalore is The LEELA PALACE, very close to the Airport. However, its a 7-star, i suppose. But if it is a sponsored trip, its worth checking out.

Some other good hotels:
Hotel Oberoi on M G Road in the central business district.
Hotel Windsor Manor on Sankey Road, opposite to a Golf course.
Hotel Taj Residency, Taj Westend, Holiday Inn, St Marks etc...

I currently do not have the phone numbers, though I am sure googling it wont be a problem. It would make sense to opt for a hotel that is in close proximity to the ur work location.

Although this does not answer ur queries specifically, I hope this gives you someting to start with.

thnks
Mazhar

hi,
about the pubs:
if u like retro music - then 1912 on st marks road is nice.
if you like hip hop trance - then you can try TAIKA on church street (lounge bar)or Zero G on residency road( they have dif music on dif days)
Leela has a new lounge bar called ATHENA ..happening.
13th Floor at barton centre on mg road is also a nice place to hang out.

bye

Trendy cozy coffee house located in various locations in town. If you want to see the Bangalore beautiful and famous, it's the place. Seems like every time I've been in the day there were someone well known by the locals.

My two favorite locations are the one with a big terrasse on MG Road (you can't miss it) and the one in an old church on residency road. Coffee, what else...
