Considering the The Residence Bangalore in Bangalore?

Local Market by Kumarjit
The first time I went to Bangalore, I was told that Gandhi Bazar, in Basavanagudi, is a good place for shopping. In fact, after talking to some local people I came to know that it's very popular with the budget shoppers. However, when I visited Gandhi Bazar, I was completely shocked to see the conjested and dirty appearance of the entire area. Vehicles ply either way on the narrow road, which has been made even narrower by the fruits and vegetable hawkers selling their stuff on the road itself! Nothing impressive! There are shops selling cheap clothes, cosmetics and accessories. Certain local food joints can be seen which are of medium standard. However, nothing special to buy. It's a cheap market. But be careful if you are a foreigner or are coming here for the first time. The store keepers may charge you more. Try to bargain, or even better, try not to buy anything from here.
