Travel Tips for Bangalore

superb andhra cuisine

by cochinjew about maduri restaurant

After Annaichi which serves chettynad food, I would consider visiting this andhra restaurant which serves superb andhra food. There is a gent with a large moustache who opens the door for you but refuses to be photographed.
it is situated near the manipal private hospital for cardiac care so you see people with a bit of money eating here. certainly not a budget option ginger chicken/mini meals/chili chicken

Research Centre for Science and Technology

by aukjejetty

Literaly Bangalore (Bengala Uru) means "village of beans". It was founded in 1531 by a petty chieftain, Kempegowda, who built a mud fortress here .

Bangalore gradually became a research centre for science and technology. The addition of the computer software industry attracted people from all parts of India and modern Bangalore, with a population of more than 5 million, is rapidly becoming overcrowded and congested.
