Posh Accomodation
The hotel is very luxurious considering the US$400 a night that I'm paying. Haha.

More like a stable than a manor
This is my first time to stay at an ITC property, and boy, was I surprised at how everything could be so wrong with this hotel. Just a sampling:
a) Pretentious architecture;
b) Dearth of decent English TV channels (read:HBO, AXN, Discovery) any self-respecting 5-star hotel should have;
c) Cleaning staff going through your stuff (!); and
d) Policy that discrimates against autorickshaw riding guests, never mind if they catch penumonia braving Bangalore's monsoons (as long as their pretentiously patrician lobby does not get desecrated by filthy autos)! Now, they don't expect all their guests to be chauffeur-driven, do they?
All in all, this hotel is a complete disappointment.
P.S. Well, there are some good things from this hotel (before you accuse me of being your proverbial guest-from-hell):
a) Friendly and patient staff;
b) Decent breakfast buffet; and
c) Flexibility in giving concessions to compensate for hotel's shortcomings.
Still, I did expect more from this hotel.
Unique Quality: Ability to annoy and irritate guests is beyond compare!
Do yourself a favor when in lovely Bangalore: avoid this hotel at all cost!
