A Great value for money
We spent 24 hours at this hotel (we were on our way from Shravanabelagola to Belur/Halebid). I knew that this used to be Govt owned tourist hotel in the 80's. Now it is privately owned and run. Firstly, it is beautifully done up with nice grounds and Coffee shop. The rooms are all updated and done up beautifully. The staff is very efficient and polite. The food is fabulous.
We had opportunities to try their breafast, lunch and dinner. Every dish came out perfect and authentic. They have a decent wine list as well. I needed some laundry done and delivered in a matter of hours and they did that in 5 hours. Excellent service!! Our driver had dorm-type accomodation and complimentary food at their staff kitchen as well.
I give this a 2 thumbs up!!
