what is the right route

by vpas

Am planning to visit -- Udupi,Dharmasthala,Mookabmbikai,Kukke Subramanya and if possible Shringeri and also the Annapoorni Temple. Please suggest the best route from Mangalore, which should be first and what place comes after the other.
we are planning to go from hyderabad to Mangalore by train/flight and then take a taxi to cover these places. Is this a sensible idea?Any suggestions regarding these places is welcome.
thank you,

from mangalore take the route udipi-mookambike-sringeri-horanadu(annapurna)-dharmasthala- kukke- mangalore.
This is the best route.
leave mangalore early in the morning, visit udipi (45 mnts journey, after darshan and tiffin, leavy to kollur mokambike, 2hr journey, have darshan and free prasad in temple. and leave for sringeri, 3 hour journey, have darshan and stay for the night or leave to horanadu, 2 hr journey.
After darshan and tiffin leave to dharmasthala, so as to reach before 12noon, to have darshan or else temple closses for the afternoon and REOPENS AT 6PM,
so reach before 12 and have darshan and food and leave to kukke which is 2 and half hour journey,
arrive kukke. temple reopens at 4.30pm, have darshan and leave for mangalore which is 2 to 3 hour journey.

Travel Tips for Mangalore

Lazy, unpretentious!

"Serenity unlimited"

Old world charm with narrow lined streets, breezy coconut trees, small gable-roofed houses, serene beaches, temples and mosques, the aroma of spicy coconut curries.... Mangalore is a city of vivid contrasts. Unfolding an enchantment that never ends. Mangalore is formed by the convergence of the rivers Netravathi and Gurupur and derives its name from the presiding deity Mangladevi. It is growing as a major commercial hub with a splash of an old-world charm.
