Cherai Beach Resort-
Its a peaceful little place, so not too touristy. Its got a beach which is almost a private beach. In the evenings you may have locals taking a walk or sometimes has a local fare etc. Beach is quite clean. Service in the resort is a little slow, so don't wait till you get really hungry to go the restaurant. You can get rooms/cottages facing the backwater but may have to do prior booking. The place also has an auyrvedic massage center which is pretty okay if you dont mind the oily massages. This place has some cottages that have a bathroom extending into the backwater. Which means you can take a dip into the backwater, but its not that clean so ....
