Disgusting dinner we had last Christmas Eve at this hotel's restaurant.
The food was not good at all, served cold and the service terrible. We complained to the manager in charge and nothing was done. No waiters coming to the table, many were going around doing nothing. We had no place on the table, full of dirty dishes to clear and nobody came. From starters to dessert the food was disgusting.
Owner never bother to reply to a complaint.
We've stayed at Hotel Fort Heritage twice and have been happy with that. The building itself is kinda exotic with only teak wall panels and huge floor boards of solid teak or limestone. The rooms are quite big and charming in the way you can expect a heritage hotel to be. Nice staff as long as you don't mind "indian time" when ordering food ;-) Easy to stay with kids because the restaurant/place to hang out is in an enclosed courtyard so we didn't have to be afraid of cars or rickshaws...
