Do your own thing
by alycat
Afetr spending the whole day in water, when ur left with little or no energy, find a secluded spot and just watch the sun go down into the sea.
Then take a bath, have dinner and laze around on the beach again listening to what the waves have to tell you. Hmmmmmm
Fisherman pulling in the net
by herzog63
Here you can see the fisherman pulling in the net. They start out at opposite ends of the beach and as they pull in the lines they remove sections and coil them up to picked up later. I've seen this same style of fishing in other asian countries so it is a time tested way of fishing that is very popular.
Kovalam - Kerala's premier beach destination
by AcornMan
Though perhaps not THE premier beach destination of South India (Goa and Mamallapuram probably have a more valid claim for that label), Kovalam is nevertheless a big attraction for tourists, both Indian and foreign alike. Kovalam is just 14 km south of Trivandrum, and only about 15-30 minutes from the Trivandrum airport depending on traffic.
Kovalam has several beaches, but by far the most heavily developed is LIghthouse Beach, located on the south end of the town. It is densely lined with hotels, restaurants, and shops but also still has a surprising number of private residences as well.
